Here we have the Deathcard of Gefreiter Josef Lochner who served in a Infantry Regiment. Josef was born on 2nd June 1909 and died in combat on the 18th October 1944 in Russland (Russia) 

 

Josef is described as a loving Husband and Father with a crisp M40 tunic service portait above. There is religious text below Josefs service infomation. In addition the reverse (Second image) details an image of The Virgin Mary with religious text asking Mary to have mercy and pray for those who have passed away 

 

The Deathcard measures 11cm x 6.5cm
