This form of restoration allows us to take contemporary frames and restore them. There will be two forms of this; both will be refurbished by us, but they will be offered with what we feel looks appropriate but also allow for individual purchase if you want to fill yourself !*

Restorative Albums 

Photo Albums are a great way to display and preserve photographs and other paper items. It is with this that we will have "Restored Albums" for sale. These consist of contemporary photo albums that will be designed by us in order to display photographs and paper items in a way they will be well preserved and displayed n a way that is similar to those from the period. 

These albums may be made up to keep groupings together or to show a particular theme, much like those that still remain. We feel its a great way to preserve not only paper items but the albums themselves. All albums restored by us will feature Photo corners that allow for easy removal and study of what's detailed with in them. Allowing for further and closer study*.

High Quality Scanning

Scanning is something that as a collector we do often when collecting paper items like photographs and postcards but also can be used to scan other items in which can render a crisp detailed image. 

We scan all our photographs at 1200dpi through our scanner. We offer these scan to anyone who purchases them as we understand not everyone has a scanner and with this people can form their own collection that they too can study and enhance via digital media.

This is something we offer across all purchases, but also upon request can sometimes sell digital copies of photographs from within KB41 Collection for personal use, publishing and research purposes*

Integral Grouping

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, this is reflected in our preservation of groupings and research we conduct on our items.

We study any and all photographs we have and even have them peer reviewed to make sure that groupings of individuals stay together wherever possible. We will never split groupings as we believe that items that clearly belong together should stay together. 

​

We try our absolute hardest to study each photograph and item to check for re-occuring factors that can contribute to a grouping. However if you see something you believe is possibly linked then please contact us directly as we would rather keep something together if we are unsure than sell individually.

This is something we do as a collector and feel it is paramount that it is carried out during our sales.
