Often seen by the "Tag Der Arbeit" (Day of work) Such small badges were also given when a donation was made to charities such as the Winterhilfswerk (WHW). These badges can be made out of Bakelite/ plastic, wood, paper, ceramic, glass and most commonly metal (Also nicknamed "Tinnies")
